Firefighter Pickleball Battle

REGISTRATION OPENS JUNE 15th

The 2024 Firefighter Pickleball Battle,  is hosted by Camano Island Fire & Rescue and Camano Stanwood Pickleball Association.  We are excited to welcome you to Camano Island for a day of enjoyable competition, camaraderie among firefighters, and fundraising in support of the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.

The tournament features two brackets: a morning session and an afternoon session. Participants will receive their bracket assignments via email no later than September 5, along with other important event details. This ladder-format tournament ensures dynamic competition, with teams moving up and down based on match results. Each team will play a minimum of five games, and there is no elimination.

• Team ladder tournament
• 24 teams (2 players per team)
• 2 brackets of 12 teams each
• Open to all fire service members, including retirees and volunteers

Registration:

• $90 per team

• 8:00 am Check-in desk opens
• 8:30 am Morning bracket warm-up time
• 9:00 am Morning bracket competition
• 11:15 am Morning bracket ends; awards presented
• 11:30 am Lunch break starts; warm-up available for afternoon   bracket
• 12:00 noon Demo games (in PPE and Sparky costumes); introduction to   the Burn Foundation
• 12:45 pm  Group photo for all participants
• 1:00 pm Afternoon bracket competition 
• 3:15 pm Afternoon bracket ends; awards presented; raffle drawing
• 3:30 pm Final announcements

We're also seeking volunteers to participate in a demonstration fundraiser match wearing Full PPE and/or Sparky costumes. You can indicate your interest in participating during registration.
